In addition to teaching classes, She also offers private healing sessions. The experiences that inform her techniques and practices are varied. As a child she developed unique practices to help manage her own anxiety and emotional sensitivity. Through the years as she explored the world of health and healing she studied with several different teachers that caught her interest. Some of these include acupressure and other techniques of Asian healing, dance, yoga, and reiki. Kim is the founder of The Rooted Center, a movement, meditation and healing center which was opened July 2002 in suburban Washington, DC. Since March 2020 Kim’s classes have been thriving live online.
